Recreation Manager

LiveDAYBREAK is an organization that plays a dynamic leadership role in helping Daybreak be the most desirable community in Utah.

LiveDAYBREAK is known for some amazing events including Bollywood, The SodaRow Concert Series, Fizz Fest Arts Festival and the Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta.

As part of The LiveDAYBREAK team, you would have an opportunity to help us continue to the culture of Daybreak. The Recreation Manager would be responsible for the following: implementing specific aspects of the Council vision; building strategic community partnerships with vendors; ensuring appropriate budget administration; planning, promoting and executing community programs, events, classes, clubs, activities and service opportunities for Daybreak residents; help facilitate Council/Developer coordination in all community programming and Council engagement in Daybreak marketing team-sponsored events.

The ideal candidate will have community event/program planning and execution experience, as well has problem-solving and budget management skills. They must have a willingness to work during events which often includes weekends, evenings and holidays. They must also have marketing/volunteer management experience in addition to performing event set-up and take down.

Must have a minimum of three years full-time recreation, professional event planning and/or non-profit agency/organization experience. First Aid/CPR/AED certifications and a BA degree or higher from an accredited program and/or related field.

REPORTS TO:Communications Director

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

POSITION SUMMARY:Provides assistance to the Communications Director in the successful delivery of communications outreach.


The Communications Coordinator supports the Communication Manager and will help achieve effective communication between the Homeowners Association, LiveDAYBREAK, the Developer, Daybreak residents and the broader community.This position is responsible for the creation and delivery of communication materials for the community.This work primarily includes writing, editing, producing and managing the production of a full range of materials that effectively support the communications goals and facilitates communication between LiveDAYBREAK, the Association and Daybreak residents.



  • Create weekly community e-newsletter: including researching and writing content, arranging photography, editing/proofreading the publication, and ensuring that the publication is distributed in a timely manner.
  • Manage content and expand use of social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • Attend events (often on nights and weekends) for content creation and photography.
  • Work with LiveDAYBREAK on communication and publicizing community events including photography and video.
  • Coordinate updates to community website.
  • Identify influencer and media opportunities to promote initiatives.
  • Perform other communications duties as requested by the Communications Director.
  • Support LiveDayreak in strategic event planning.



  • Event photography (Canon DSLR Camera)
  • Experience with social media content management including Facebook ads manager
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign along with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Graphic and creative design experience
  • Video filming and editing experience
  • Strong writing and copy editing skills
  • High level of attention to detail

  • Work is conducted both indoors in an office environment where employee must sit or stand for long periods of time and outdoors participating in lifestyle events.
  • Employee may be required to repetitively lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Will be asked to work events and attend meetings after hours and on weekends.



  • BA degree in communications or related field.
  • 1 + years’ experience in Public Relations/Communications/Marketing.
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to own vehicle.

Child Watch Associate

CCMC currently has a part-time Child Watch Associate position at Daybreak in South Jordan, UT!

For roughly 8-15 hours a week, under the direction of the Child Watch Supervisor, performs child care duties to provide a safe, supervised play environment for the children of residents while parent(s) or guardian is on the premises.

Responsibilities include: supervise children 6 months to 9 years of age; interact with children, staff and parents; responsible for the safety and wellbeing of each child; make sure parents sign in and out for their children; enforce health codes; clean and wipe down tables; and replace toys and supplies to the proper storage area. Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, must be 18 years of age, current CPR and First Aid certification, and previous experience with children. Also must be able to work flexible hours and various shifts such as weekends and holidays.
