Did you know residents can take FREE sailing lessons on Oquirrh Lake? Stop by the boat ramp to make an appointment. The boat ramp hours are Monday - Saturday 10 am - 8 pm or Sunday from 11 am - pm.
Meg Seamons is the Resident Appreciation in Daybreak (R.A.D.) Award recipient for June. She and her family moved to Daybreak seven years ago and especially love beautiful Oquirrh Lake. She is originally from Idaho Falls and moved to Utah to attend Utah State University. They have lived in Logan, Kaysville, North Salt Lake and now Daybreak. The family loves it here.

If you are headed down the halls of the Daybreak Community Center, you might notice the Arts Council’s newest installation. Floating just below the ceiling are hundreds of painted sticks displayed in a water-like formation. This piece was created during last year’s Fizz Fest and is finally being installed. Anndalyn Hobbs and Karen Sewell, along with the rest of the council, have worked hard to spearhead the project.
LiveDAYBREAK is excited to spotlight Melanie Ogomo for this month's Volunteer Activities Council Award. The Ogomo family moved to Utah December 2016 after living in Idaho for five years. Their friends recommended a neighborhood called Daybreak and they immediately fell in love with the family- friendly community.At the time, the Ogomos had two boys and were expecting a third boy. Now the family has four children: Xavier, Tayshaun, Jarvis and Savannah.
Spring has officially sprung and that means our outdoor facilities are almost ready for the upcoming season. Most will open Memorial Day weekend. Below are a few details on summer amenities available to residents:
