Welcome

LiveDAYBREAK was created to help the residents of the Daybreak community live more fulfilling lives. We do this by maintaining a robust calendar of events, establishing new relationships and helping create the most desirable community in Utah. This website features everything you’ll need to learn what’s happening in the neighborhood; whether you’re looking to see who’s playing on SoDa Row tonight, when the pools open or where you can find the best park for your picnic, it’s all right here. Welcome to LiveDAYBREAK.

Give Back This November

The season of giving has officially started and LiveDAYBREAK is providing opportunities for the community to give back. Last year Daybreak donated more than $6,000 in items to children and families in need and helped them have a magical holiday experience. This year, we are trying to expand our reach and provide gifts to two charities: Christmas Box House and Utah Community Action.

Diane and Dutch Felgenhauer moved to Daybreak from San Diego in December of last year. After visiting a friend, they fell in love with the community. Since moving in, they have become involved with many LiveDaybreak events and other community activities. They even volunteered to be models in a recent video shoot.

Introducing the Waterside Club Committee for Lake Village

The Waterside Club Committee is Daybreak’s newest committee for Lake Village. Formed just a few weeks ago, the six committee members are led by chair, Lisa Radke. Other members include Ty Brooks, Matt Baker, Jack Hepworth, Alicia Summers and Jodie Milad. Their vision is to give a voice to Lake Village residents and keep the neighborhood and Waterside Club in great condition. Residents can use the committee as a tool to share comments or information with the Daybreak Community Association. The group plans to get feedback on Lake Village needs in order to communicate with the HOA. Their role will also be to get bids for any work done on the Waterside Club and suggest improvements to the area.

Who Let The Dogs Out?

The dogs have been unleashed at the new dog park off of Lake Ave and Porcini Dr. This new space has been incredibly popular among four-legged residents with 50 dogs seen enjoying space on any given day. Sharon Juneau and Tanner Lindsay from the Dog Park Committee took some time to give us a tour and explain features of the area that residents may not be aware of. These features were all very intentional in the overall design and functionality of the park.

Rock the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

LiveDAYBREAK is teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association to Rock the Walk on Saturday, September 22nd. You are probably familiar with the well-known Walk To End Alzheimer’s with participants dressed in a slew of purple to support the cause. In true LiveDAYBREAK style, we are taking the event to the next level. Walkers will stroll down memory lane and listen to favorite songs from decades past with porch concerts located along the route. The bands offer participants a fun alternative to the classic walk with short sets of fun music.

Public Art on the Move

Have you noticed new art installations popping up around Daybreak? From frog boxes to Bike Monsters, the LiveDAYBREAK Community Art Advisory Committee (CAAC) has been working hard to add engaging pieces throughout the community. Each installation went through an extensive review process and the committee hopes that the new pieces help enhance the community’s support of public art.
